Hullo!
I tasted my first champagne on the cruise. I actually didn't afford it but I thought that now that I'm on holiday (had a few days off work) I thought it's time to let loose. It was quite good. I usually don't like any dry sparkling wines but this champagne didn't taste that dry even though it said extra dry on the label. That's probably because it had this berryish flavor which made the taste more sweeter. Katja nowadays says I'm a snob because I'm interested in tasting wines. She's just jealous because she can't understand wines. ;)

We had friends visiting on the weekend. Ansku needed cheering up so she came to barbecue in the afternoon. Nico came while we were still grilling and Mika came later on. We had a really fun night playing games etc. Nico left early on because he had to work the next day at 9 am, Mika and Ansku stayed overnight. At night we had a dispute with Katja because she and Ansku wanted to go swimming. I didn't like the idea as they had been drinking. Mika went to sleep since he had to work at 12 am the next morning and we three + Tessa left out. In the end, they didn't go swimming and we kind of went our separate ways but ended up together. If anything that night showed me that I have a really good friend, Ansku. I'm so grateful for her. :)
The next day, Ansku, Katja and I went to Itäkeskus to pick up Ansku's engagement ring since it had been cleansed there. Ansku has had problems with that ring and with that (anon) company because they lost the diamond on the ring and didn't even mention it. Ansku had to meet the boss there to discuss the ring and the boss spoke to her rudely but in the end, Ansku got the ring back for free and it looked good. :) After that, we went to eat at Fonda del Sol and buy clothes from Stadium (which I actually didn't afford but had to buy clothes because I've been throwing my old clothes off because they have started to smell so awful).
Yesterday, I took my bicycle to maintenance. It's been a long time since I took it there last. One morning when I was leaving for work with my bicycle I noticed that my back tire is completely empty. I didn't now if it was just empty or punctured but I suspected someone had done it on purpose. I don't know what's wrong with our neighbours: they throw garbage from their balcony, they live rude messages on the doors (as most of you probably remember), they dig up flowers and now they empty the tires.. Can't wait for my bike to come "brand new" from the maintenance so that I can go to work by it again. I have approximately a 6 km ride to work and it takes about 20-25 minutes depending on the wind. Today I have a meeting there, and I have to take the underground. :(
I should read for an exam which will be on next Tuesday, I guess. I just can't motivate myself because the book is SO boring. The book is about upbringing and philosophy and all of you who know me know that I'm not a friend of philosophy. Got grade 6 in senior secondary school (scale 4-10) and hated the lessons. Well, could have managed better with a different teacher, hated the teacher so much. She wasn't fair.
In the evening, we are barbecuing here with our neighbour Kikka and her dog Pipsa. Pipsa is Tessa's best friend. Kikka actually thought that I'm 32 years old (actually 21) and Katja is 34 (actually 27). We had some laughs about that. Well, we weren't better either, we thought that Kikka is about 35 (actually 44). Well, age is just a number. We have been on a breakfast in the woods and I got tanned for the first time this summer. We brought a souvenir for Kikka from the cruise, a non-alcoholic red wine. She said that she doesn't want to drink alcohol anymore but loves red wine but Alko doesn't have a non-alcoholic red wine so we thought it would be fun to bring her one. She was awestruck by it. :) Actually Alko has the exact same red wine on its selection to my recollection. Have to check that. I guess I have to be getting ready for work so I won't be late..

I love reading blogs when I know the person who writes it! :D ..and you're talking about THE book about upbringing and philosophy I presume..? Ugh, good luck.. Hehe.
VastaaPoistaYep, that's the one, hate it.
VastaaPoistaWhen I took the exam we had one question about indoctrination and one where we had to describe one of the different trends in philosophy of education. Maybe you can think about reading those parts carefully? Lycka till i alla fall, du klarar det!
VastaaPoistaYep, I had the same.. Tack Oona :)
